Sale or Assignment
Transferring your mineral interest to a buyer or assignee. Requires the recorded deed and a W-9 for the new owner.
Death of Owner
Transferring interest to heirs after a death. Requires the death certificate and either probate documents or a recorded affidavit of heirship.
Name Change
Updating an owner's name after marriage or divorce. Requires the marriage certificate or divorce decree.
Trust Transfer
Moving an interest into or out of a trust. Requires the recorded conveyance and a Certificate of Trust.
Entity Change
Mergers, dissolutions, or EIN changes for entity owners. Requires the filed entity documents and the IRS CP-575.
Address Change
Updating your mailing address only. Requires only a signed letter from the owner of record — no W-9 needed.
